Owner, Transaction Manager
Krissy Shellenberger is the owner and founder of Real Advantage Transaction Management. Krissy has been involved in real estate for her entire life, coming from a family who has sold real estate since the 1980s.
Krissy obtained her Virginia real estate license after graduating from college (James Madison University) and also obtained her real estate license in Alaska, selling residential real estate in the Anchorage area for a year and a half while her husband was stationed in Anchorage with the US Army.
Krissy's knowledge of the industry and extreme attention to detail, combined with the growing need for this type of service in the real estate industry, motivated her to start her own company managing real estate transactions in 2014 and she hasn't looked back! Krissy has enjoyed working with many great REALTORS® and looks forward to the opportunity to help more REALTORS® grow their businesses!
In Krissy's spare time she enjoys riding and competing her horse, Mac, in the equestrian sport of Three Day Eventing, spending time with her two dogs, Hank and Riggs, and working on home improvement projects with her husband, Graham.

Sam Joyce is a transplant from North Carolina who moved to Virginia when she was in high school. Sam was an Operations Manager for a team in the Northern Virginia area for more than 2 years. She oversaw more than 100 transactions per year while also selling homes as an active Real Estate Agent. Sam's passion has always been making sure any and every transaction goes as smooth as possible. Sam enjoys spending her free time with her 2 rescue dogs.
Mary Frances FitzPatrick
Mary Frances joined RATM after five years as both an independent and in-house TC. She has personally overseen over 700 transactions and loves paperwork, documents, and checklists! She is passionate about helping agent-entrepreneurs grow their businesses and understands the power of having the right leverage on your side.
Mary Frances started in real estate as a TC for a top producing Keller Williams team and later became an independent TC, building systems to effectively handle hundreds of transactions per year. Her background in sales and training, passion for continuing education, and organization have made the real estate industry a natural fit.

Melissa worked as the Operations Director for a large, top producing Real Estate team based in DC for over 7 years. Over this time, she assisted in closing over 500 successful transactions while managing the brokerage, handling social media, and training new agents, as well. She will tell you that she found her true passion when she began working in real estate in 2014. She admires the amount of dedication and time that great REALTORS® put into their work and enjoys being able to take the "busy work" off of their plates, so they can focus on their clients and building their business.

Aly loves what she does and is very passionate about her job, which is why it does not really feel like "work" to her! She puts her everything into each transaction.
Aly is very thorough and detail-oriented, due to her background as an attorney in Michigan & DC. After she moved to the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, the rolling hills and historic homes drew her in. She loved the architecture and discovered that working in real estate was where she was supposed to be. Aly loves being a part of helping clients make their dreams come true and takes pride in her work believing that everyone deserves to get the best service. Aly will work hard to deliver quality service throughout the entire transaction to meet and exceed expectations. Her goal is to build a relationship with our customers that endures for the long run!

Lauren was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, and moved to Northern Virginia in 2014. Lauren received her degree in marketing and has been using her marketing skill set throughout her professional career. Lauren loves being able to create something unique for her clients. If she isn’t working, Lauren is spending time with her horse and her dog.
